Carved Porcelain Ikebana Vase

48.00

This contemporary porcelain vase was thrown on a potters wheel then carved with vertical stripes that are highlighted in glaze.  It looks great with several flowers or a single stem. These ikebana vases make a wonderful low centerpiece for your table or will fit nicely in small spaces like the powder room or on your desk.  They are lovely alone or grouped with others (as shown in one of the images).  Each comes with a kenzan (flower frog) permanently glued inside to hold flowers just where you want them.  The vase holds about one cup of water.

Each day in my studio, I strive for the pieces I make to be visually engaging and delightfully tactile.  I hope you enjoy them!  Learn more about the firing process I used to make this vase here.
