Copy of Carved Porcelain Vase

85.00

This one of a kind porcelain vase is lovely to arrange flowers in.  It was thrown on the potter's wheel, then decorated with loose vertical undulating stripes.  With the atmospheric salt glaze those stripes have become a light transparent amber yellow and a very light blue to turquoise.  This vase was fired in the atmospheric salt kiln to Cone 10, about 2350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Learn more about the salt firing process here.

Each day in my studio, I strive for the pieces I make to be visually engaging and delightfully tactile.  I hope you enjoy them!
